An Hour of Deception is an homage to the great Viennese master magician Johan Hofzinser. Hofzinser performed a salon show in his living room for a small group of guests in the middle 1800’s and his work is still being studied today.

In the spirit of Hofzinser and the drawing room entertainer, I will bring my elegant close up performance table and we will enjoy a close up magic show filled with classics of magic. There will be magical surprises, audience participation, and moments of sublime humor. Your private space will be transformed into a drawing room of days gone by for an event you will always remember.

Here is how the experience is created. After setting up the show with an elegant presentation table, the guests gather in the living space. The opening routine piques their interest by sharing a story about money. What follows are a series of close up magic classics curated from some of the top minds in the world of magic.
